My shading has gotten rather…inky…hasn’t it?

For every step forward I take with this project I take a step back. So far I’ve completed six of the eight princesses (nine, if you count Tiana—but I’m holding off on her until her movie comes out) and I’ve made ten dolls—four of which have been to replace the not-so-good originals.

Hopefully I can manage to get over this “it isn’t good enough so it must be redone” frame of mind and actually finish the other two princesses. And then go back and do the second versions of these ladies.

Ah, so pretty! I love the white portion of her dress, especially the outline. It looks great. Not too harsh colored, not to soft. Great.

The patterns are extremely well done, too, just visible enough so you're aware of them without being overpowering. You've done a great job! She's so silky looking.
